Bioitalia supports Dynamo Camp

In: News

In 2024, Bioitalia has chosen to support Dynamo Camp to gift a one-week vacation to two children with serious or chronic illnesses. We believe in this project and hope that with our support and that of many other organizations, we can bring some joy and carefreeness to children who already face many difficulties in their daily lives. We have chosen Dynamo Camp because we appreciate the care, passion, and dedication with which they have been organizing these activities for years, and we hope that this can be a starting point for us, not only to financially support this type of activity but also to increase the involvement and awareness of all the people who are part of our company and who follow us by choosing our products. We are convinced that for a company like ours, which entered the organic world 30 years ago with the desire to actively contribute to the safeguarding of the planet, the time has come to be increasingly actively helpful to people. Therefore, today we start from this small first step with the intention of doing everything possible for many more to follow.

But what is Dynamo Camp?

Dynamo Camp is a Recreational Therapy camp, the first in Italy, which hosts sick children and teenagers and their families for periods of vacation and fun. The Camp is located in Limestre, within a WWF-affiliated provincial protection oasis of over 900 hectares in the province of Pistoia: Oasi Dynamo.

What does Dynamo do?

Since 2007, Dynamo Camp has been offering free Dynamo® Recreational Therapy programs to children and teenagers with serious or chronic illnesses, also dedicating programs to parents and siblings. Activities take place at Dynamo Camp and, through Dynamo Programs, in hospitals, pathology associations, foster homes, and in Dynamo City Camps in some of the main cities nationwide, during the summer or throughout the year.

The ultimate goal of Dynamo Camp is to contribute to the right to happiness of children with serious illnesses and their families.

All activities are structured according to the Dynamo® Recreational Therapy model, which aims to provide entertainment and fun but also, and above all, to stimulate the children's abilities, supporting self-confidence and hope, with long-term benefits on quality of life. The main activities offered are climbing, archery, water activities, farm and horseback riding, circus, gardens, ceramics, hip hop, rap, magic stories, Dynamo Art Factory, Radio Dynamo, Dynamo Studios, Dynamo Musical.
