Stufato di seitan con patate e piselli

Preparation

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes.
  2. Cut the seitan into chunks.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil with the garlic oil and chopped onion.
  4. Add the seitan and sauté for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring.
  6. Add the drained peas, thyme, vegetable broth, salt, and pepper.
  7. Cover and cook on low heat for 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium potatoes (or 4 small ones)
  • 1 block of plain seitan (190 g)
  • 1 jar of Bioitalia peas
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Bioitalia garlic oil
  • Half an onion
  • Thyme to taste
  • 200 ml vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
