Preparation

Mix chia seeds and water and wait for 10 minutes. Then pour the gelatinized chia seed and water mixture into a bowl along with the remaining ingredients except breadcrumbs; let the mixture solidify in the fridge for about half an hour. Add breadcrumbs until a drier and solid consistency is achieved. Shape the mixture into hot dog shapes with your hands and bake them in the oven on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper brushed with extra virgin olive oil for about 15 minutes on each side at 200 degrees Celsius, or in a well-oiled pan over high heat until a nice golden crust forms on all sides.

  • Chia seeds 30 gr (2 tablespoons)
  • Water 30 ml (2 tablespoons)
  • Cannellini beans (240 gr) 1 jar
  • Flour 100 gr
  • Breadcrumbs 100 gr for adjusting consistency
  • Tomato paste 15 gr (1 tablespoon)
  • Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oregano 1 teaspoon
  • Extra virgin olive oil 15 ml (1 tablespoon) for brushing parchment paper
