Place the flour on the table, make a well and put the salt in along with 1/3 of the water, of the honey and the crumbled yeast. Start mixing all the ingredients adding the remaining water little by little until you get a soft and elastic dough. Prepare some loafs of about 60-70g each and leave them leaving until they double their volume. Stretch a bit the loafs and deep fry them in abundant oil. Drain the Montanarine on paper towels and seaso them with hot marinara sauce


  • All Purpose Flour 200 gr
  • Durum Wheat Semolina Flour 300 gr
  • Salt 10 gr
  • Brewer's yeast 7 gr
  • Water 300 ml approx.
  • Acacia or Wildflower Honey 15 gr
  • Extra virgin olive oil 1Tbsp
  • Marinara sauce
  • Sunflower oil 750 ml
